About Us
Kabunku, established in June 2020, the idea started during the first wave of COVID-19 in Brunei, when social distancing was advised, in-person dining was halted and as well as global travel restrictions. As a result, we looked to explore how to further enrich Brunei through domestic innovation. With some thorough research, we developed an interest for aquaponic and hydroponic growing systems that are as close to self-sustainable as possible; this is known as closed-loop farming.
